Having returned from their Long Way Home adventure, 19,300 miles in six months, 23 countries, riding across Siberia and the Gobi Desert of Mongolia, Mick is now back in the business of organising tours to the Continent and weekend breaks.  The tours in 2006 took in the old favourite Hotel Forsthaus in the Eifels of Germany, and a new venture… a two week tour to Slovenia. 

Twenty people on an assortment of motorcycles enjoyed the best of motorcycling roads through Germany, Austria, the Alps and to Hotel Lucija, Most na Soci.  This tour was so well enjoyed by everyone it is being repeated in 2007.  Also enjoyed by the group, on their way to Slovenia, was the Hotel Waldblick in the Black Forest, so a week to the Schwarzwald is also in the 2007 calender.

Something for everyone… because apart from the usual weekends to the Scottish Borders at Easter, and to Wales in October, a long weekend has been organized to St Omer in northern France.

The continental tours are always 'low key' small groups, with a usual maximum of about twenty people. Some experienced travellers return repeatedly on these tours because of the friendliness and the 'crack', and the 'first timers' travel in the knowledge that they will be taken care of.  It's not uncommon for the 'first timers' to be soon travelling off in a different direction with new found friends within the group.

Future tours will include Ireland, Germany, Austria and hopefully Croatia!  Mick will say that it's been an absolute privilege to have been shown round Ireland by the Irish, and Turkey by the Turks.
