During his service he trained as motorcycle instructor & examiner, royal and special VIP escorts, and trained other police motor cyclists for these roles.  He was seconded to the Regional Crime Squad as surveillance motor cyclist!

Mick has been an IAM Examiner since 1992 and on retirement from the police in 1995 he set up his company  Advanced Riding Techniques. Reviewed by RiDE Magazine, ART was the only one of eight training schemes to be “Highly recommended!”
